She married her high school sweetheart, raised three kids (one was lost to cancer), and co-owned a small business for over twenty-five years. Her experiences in marriage, family, and business as well as serving her community as a teacher, an international student host, and a group leader for local organizations has fueled her passion for hearing peoples' stories and helping them overcome obstacles to reach their potential. In therapy, Shannon engages with people of all ages and endeavors to create a welcoming space with no judgement. She helps clients navigate all kinds of issues, assuring them that they are not alone and that there is hope. She has special training and experience in expressive arts interventions, play therapy, and trauma therapy. In her free time, she spends time with family, creates, reads, hikes, skis, thrifts, gardens and raises chickens.
